At Alex Goodman, we take pride in delivering refined, made-to-measure garments with exceptional attention to detail. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase of our 2 Suits for $1,300 promotion ("Promotion") and form a binding legal agreement between you ("Client") and Alex Goodman Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") — a business registered in New South Wales, Australia (ABN: 94 167 715 111). By completing your purchase, you confirm you are aged 18 years or over, that you have read and understood these Terms in full, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your order.
1. Promotion Details & Availability
This Promotion offers two (2) made-to-measure suits for $1,300 AUD (GST inclusive). The Promotion is available for a strictly limited time, subject to fabric allocation, and expires on 31 July 2026 or earlier if stock is exhausted — whichever occurs first. Alex Goodman Pty Ltd reserves the right to withdraw or modify this Promotion at any time without notice. All orders are secured on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of full payment. This Promotion is available exclusively online and cannot be combined with any other offer, discount, or promotion. Each purchase is limited to one (1) order per individual customer.
2. Pricing & GST
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) in accordance with A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999. The total promotional price of $1,300 AUD is the full amount payable at checkout for the two base garments. Any optional add-ons, post-delivery alterations, or additional services selected outside this Promotion will be quoted and invoiced separately.
3. Eligibility
This Promotion is open to individuals aged 18 years and over. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Alex Goodman Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel an order where it has reasonable grounds to believe this requirement has not been met, in which case a full refund will be issued.
4. Payment
Full payment of $1,300 AUD is required at the time of placing your order. Your order is not confirmed until payment is received in full. We accept payment via the methods available at checkout. In the event of a payment failure, your order will not be processed and no production slot will be reserved.
Chargebacks & Disputes: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider without first contacting us in good faith to resolve the matter, we reserve the right to suspend production and withhold delivery until the dispute is resolved. Costs incurred as a result of an unjustified chargeback may be recovered.
5. Your Order & Client Responsibilities
Each garment is individually crafted to your selected design, fabric, and measurements. By confirming your order, you approve all specifications submitted for production. The accuracy of all information provided — including measurements, fabric selection, style preferences, and delivery details — is the responsibility of the Client.
Measurement Responsibility: Where measurements are provided by the Client (online or from an existing profile), Alex Goodman Pty Ltd accepts no liability for fit issues arising from inaccurate measurements supplied. Where measurements are taken in-store by our team, responsibility for accuracy transfers to Alex Goodman Pty Ltd. Fabric changes remain available at your first in-store fitting appointment.
6. The Made-to-Measure Process
Our garments are tailored specifically for you and are not produced as stock items. As with all made-to-measure clothing, minor refinements following delivery may be required to achieve your ideal fit. This is a normal part of the bespoke tailoring process and does not constitute a defect. Any post-delivery alterations are not included in the promotional price and will be quoted separately based on the adjustments required.
This Promotion is offered at an exclusive price point. While the same quality of craftsmanship and materials applies, client expectations should reflect the promotional nature of the pricing.
7. Production & Delivery Timeframes
Your garments will be produced within an estimated 4–6 weeks from final order confirmation. This is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed delivery date unless confirmed in writing by Alex Goodman Pty Ltd. Delays may occur due to fabric sourcing, production scheduling, or logistical factors. Where timing is critical — such as for a wedding or event — please advise our team at the time of ordering. Alex Goodman Pty Ltd will not be liable for losses arising from delivery delays outside our reasonable control.
8. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are delivered to the address provided at checkout. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure all delivery details are accurate and complete. Alex Goodman Australia accepts no responsibility for non-delivery, misdelivery, or delays arising from incorrect address information. Risk of loss or damage passes to the Client upon delivery to the nominated address. Where a delivery is missed and the parcel is returned to us, re-delivery charges may apply. International deliveries may be subject to customs duties and taxes payable by the recipient.
9. Return Shipping
In the event that a garment is required to be returned to Alex Goodman Pty Ltd for any reason — including for assessment of a reported defect, agreed remake, or refinement — all return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the Client. Alex Goodman Pty Ltd does not cover, reimburse, or arrange return postage unless we have confirmed a major defect exists under the Australian Consumer Law, in which case reasonable return shipping costs will be covered by us.
Important: We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postage service for all returns. Alex Goodman Pty Ltd accepts no liability for garments lost or damaged in transit during a client-arranged return.
10. Changes & Cancellations
Orders may only be amended or cancelled prior to production commencing. Once production has begun, no changes, amendments, or cancellations are possible and no refund will be issued. 11. Returns, Refunds & Australian Consumer Law
Due to the personalised and custom nature of made-to-measure garments, we do not offer returns or refunds on the basis of change of mind. This is consistent with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which recognises that change-of-mind refund rights do not apply to custom-made goods.
Important: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). If a garment has a major defect, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. For minor defects, we are entitled to repair or replace. Your statutory guarantees under the ACL cannot be waived by these Terms.
12. Quality Assurance & Defect Claims
If you believe there is a defect or quality issue with your garment upon receipt, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@alexgoodman.com.au with your order reference number, a clear description of the concern, and supporting photographs where applicable. This 7-day window is our preferred internal process; it does not limit your rights under the ACL for defects that become apparent later. Where a concern is validated, we will determine the most appropriate resolution — whether refinement, remake, or another agreed outcome.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, please contact us in the first instance at info@alexgoodman.com.au. We will acknowledge your concern within 2 business days and endeavour to reach a resolution in good faith within 14 business days. If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, either party may refer the matter to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) or seek advice from NSW Fair Trading. We remain committed to an amicable resolution wherever possible.
14. Privacy & Data Collection
By placing an order, you consent to Alex Goodman Pty Ltd collecting and using your personal information — including your name, contact details, measurements, and payment information — for the purposes of processing your order, fulfilling production, and communicating with you about your garments. Your information will not be sold or disclosed to third parties except where required to fulfil your order (e.g. production partners or delivery providers) or as required by law. We handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy, available at alexgoodman.com.au. You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by contacting info@alexgoodman.com.au.
15. Photography & Marketing Consent
From time to time, Alex Goodman Pty Ltd may photograph completed garments for use in marketing, social media, or promotional materials. Images will feature garments only — not your personal likeness — without separate written consent. If you do not wish for your garments to be photographed or featured in any marketing content, please advise us in writing prior to or at the time of your fitting. In the absence of a written objection, we may use garment images for promotional purposes.
16. Intellectual Property
All designs, branding, patterns, and materials created by Alex Goodman Pty Ltd remain our intellectual property. Where a Client provides logos, monograms, or artwork for embroidery or embellishment, the Client warrants they hold the right to use such materials and indemnifies Alex Goodman Pty Ltd against any third-party intellectual property claims arising from their use.
17. Force Majeure
Alex Goodman Pty Ltd will not be in breach of these Terms, nor liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations, where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government-mandated restrictions, supplier failures, industrial disputes, or significant disruptions to transport or logistics networks. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of any such event. If a delay caused by a force majeure event exceeds 12 weeks, either party may elect to cancel the order and a full refund will be issued.
18. Respectful Conduct
We are proud of the service we provide and the team who delivers it. We ask that all client interactions remain respectful and professional. Alex Goodman Pty Ltd reserves the right to decline service, cancel an order (with full refund), or discontinue communication where conduct is deemed abusive, threatening, or unreasonable.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alex Goodman Pty Ltd's total liability to you in connection with this Promotion is limited to $1,300 AUD — the total amount paid by you. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or reputational damage, however caused. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
20. Amendments to These Terms
Alex Goodman Pty Ltd reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on our website at alexgoodman.com.au. The Terms applicable to your order are those in effect at the time your order is confirmed and payment received.
21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. If you are located in another Australian state or territory, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction. For international customers, local consumer laws may apply in addition to these Terms.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any written order confirmation provided at the time of purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alex Goodman Pty Ltd in relation to this Promotion and supersede any prior representations, discussions, or understandings — whether oral or written. No variation to these Terms is effective unless agreed in writing by Alex Goodman Pty Ltd.
24. Acceptance
By completing your purchase, you confirm that you: (a) are aged 18 years or over; (b) have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full; and (c) agree to be legally bound by them.
